On February 20, 2008    The Frederick County 4H Therapeutic Riding Program announced its new “Sponsor a Rider” program.  The FC4HTRP is a 501c3 non profit organization located at Silverado Stables, in Thurmont, MD, which provides two seven week therapeutic riding sessions in the spring and fall at no charge to our disabled students.

The “Sponsor A Rider” program allows an organization or individual to sponsor a rider for either a half-year ($500) or a full year ($1,000) of riding or more.

Every year our Program continues to grow, adding more specialized equipment, horses and riders.  We rely on the generosity of individuals, businesses, civic organizations and many fundraisers to keep our program going.

If you or your organization would like to a sponsor please contact Debbie Endlich, President, at 301-898-3587. Then come out to the farm and watch as your sponsorship pays off – see the smiles and improvements the rider makes over the year.
